There are two ways you can focus on the rose. One way is by focusing on its beauty, the other is those pesky little thorns that are out of focus.

Unfortunately, due to immaturity, we can tend to focus on the pesky things and we become critical, angry and negative.
Don’t let the pesky thorns that God is working out in His Body become the major focus of your ministry.God will not ignore them, rather focus and give yourself to your primary job as a prophet which is to build, equip, mature in Love the Saints. Ephesians 4:11-16

We forget that we become a reflection to others of His Glory only by Beholding Him.What they are seeing in you is a result of your focus. 2 Cor.3:18

It is also wise to remember that out of the abundance of the heart our words flow. What we focus on and behold is found in our heart. Luke 6:43-45; James 3:1-12
